// is a multimedia installation using textile, sound, and visual to tend to the affective gaps and excesses of diaspora – of existing between cultures, generations, language, and geographies - and examines the geographic and familial relationships of the artist's hometown of Vancouver, BC, and her parents’ hometown of Hong Kong to uncover threads of intimacy, anxiety, and alienation. 
Featuring projection mapping onto the artist’s mother’s clothes from when she emigrated from Hong Kong to Canada, imagery comprises of audio reactive textures: names of extended family members in English and Chinese, video from public transit in Hong Kong and Vancouver, generative visuals
